LIFE'S TOO SHORT TO BE SERIOUS ALL THE TIME

I understand that I'm growing up and need to be serious about life and work and all but you can't be serious all the time. "Don't get your panties all in a twine grandma! It is going to be okay." Take time away from being serious all the time. For instance I played double-dutch with some classmates yesterday. I was somewhat rusty on my jump roping skills but we still had a lot of fun. Later I did finish my homework so don't think I didn't. I challenge YOU to do the same---go out today and do something fun with a group of your friends and take a break from the homework, school, work, or whatever. Believe me it will be worth it!

I wish I remembered how to double dutch! It doesn't do me any good that I remember the rhymes, but have no jump rope skills to reference...Take Care!-Erin

You're a girl after my own heart! After all, what's the point of living if you don't get to enjoy life once in a while?

I believe the same thing. Even though it's not good to take life too lightly, but everyone is a kid at heart... you just have to let it out sometime to play a little double dutch!!!

That's so cool. I never could double dutch. I wish I could though. Thanks for the comment. What did you think of the virtual makeover?

No problem anytime. You can catch me anytime between class, or if you want to get together for a makeover, we could do that too. I'm trying to do 100 of them by May, so if you're interested, let me know

I really appreciated this blog. It really made me step back and think for a second. I have been truly stressed out lately with work and school... busy, busy, busy... and this little paragraph made me realize that I do need to try to have some down time for myself.. Thank you for bringing me back down to Earth!
